Quinn Emanuel Probe of Cruise Crash Discovers Executives ‘Not Actively Engaged’ as Crisis Unfolded

A damning internal report on Cruise’s handling of an October mishap in which among its self-driving taxis struck and seriously hurt a pedestrian in San Francisco blames “lacking management at the greatest levels of the business,” consisting of members of the C-suite and legal department.

The 195-page report, provided by law office Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & & Sullivan on behalf of Cruise and moms and dad General Motors, explains an executive and legal group that did not take command of the scenario, stopped working to completely understand the gravity of the crisis, and stopped working to guarantee Cruise completely adhered to its reporting requirements to the National Highway Traffic Security Administration and other regulators.
