Leading up to Valentine’s Day, single-leafed hoyas fly out of nurseries, floral designer stores, and garden centers. And you can see why: It’s small, it’s heart-shaped, and its petals do not fall off. Its cuteness appears custom-made for the vacation. Simply be recommended that it will not become one enormous heart, nor will it grow several hearts. That’s since the single leaf is rooted as a leaf cutting, not as a stem cutting with nodes. Still, that single leaf planted in well-draining soil can live for several years. If you choose a hoya heart plant that will grow several leaves, make certain to purchase a rooted variation that has at least 2 leaves.
Belonging To Southeast Asia, hoya heart is a tropical vining succulent with thick and waxy evergreen leaves.
