Kansas Judicial Branch Plans Repair of Details Systems After Breach

The Kansas judicial branch is expecting it will bring back the majority of its info systems to district courts in more than 100 counties by the end of the year after validating that it was the victim of a “advanced foreign cyberattack” that left its e-filing system offline because mid-October, the judicial branch just recently revealed.

Recently, the Kansas court system revealed that the October ” security event that interfered with access to court systems” was undoubtedly a cyberattack that “momentarily crippled” the info systems for the state appellate courts and district courts in 104 counties, according to a news release on the judicial branch’s site
