Hoxton x Bauwerk: A New Collection of Limewash Paints, Influenced by European Cities

We’re continuously on the hunt for environment-friendly, non-petroleum-derived paints, so we were pleased to (re) find Bauwerk Colour, makers of limewash paints. The business was established in Australia in the early aughts by husband-wife group Andreas and Bronywn Ridel, who set out to develop the world’s most stunning natural paint. Twenty years later on, Bauwerk Colour produces zero-V.O.C. limewashes utilizing clay, minerals, and natural pigments and stays dedicated to sustainability.

” We make use of an easy essential cycle of earth, fire, water, and air,” Bronwyn states. “Limewash is a thin layer of limestone that dries on your wall by taking in co2 from the air, simply as plants do. With a PH level of 14 and anti-bacterial qualities, it is devoid of biocides, formaldehydes, and preservatives.” (You can find out more about it in Renovation 101 and this DO IT YOURSELF)

Bauwerk Colour is likewise understood for its cooperations with style world titans like Home of Grey and Abigail Ahern Its latest release, the Area Collection, remains in collaboration with shop hotel group The Hoxton The line is made up of 9 earthy paints that refer particular places of The Hoxton, from Berlin and Edinburgh to Amsterdam and Barcelona.
