Handmade Lighting and Wall Sculptures Cast in Bronze, Brass and Plaster by Jess Wheeler

Jess often teams up with personal customers, consisting of the interior designers Barlow & & Barlow, John Derian, and Summerill & & Bishop, on bespoke, site-specific works. The studio is presently making a chandelier for a renowned dining establishment in London: “a winding, fragile oak branch covered in hand-cut brass oak leaves.” A bronze furnishings collection is likewise in advancement for 2024.

The moving seasons stay a continuous source of motivation for Jess. “Daily, I bring pieces of my garden, the hills, and forests back to my workshop and think of equating these natural kinds into sculptural lighting, candlesticks, and sculptural items,” she states. “Outdoors is a plentiful resource which is permanently altering; I will never ever weary of it. I go for my work to highlight the fragility of the natural world and to motivate a modification in viewpoint of my subject.”
