How to set off mail with Payment Coupon report accessory on publishing the Payment entry

In Sage X3, we just recently had a requirement to set up an e-mail to be activated to send out the Payment Coupon report as an accessory on publishing the Payment entry to the particular provider versus whom the Payment entry has actually been produced.

So let’s see how we can develop and set up an e-mail.

Action 1: Release the report.

Action 2: Develop the report code Ex: ZIAPPAYVOCHR1 for the report and set the location as Email and tick the Compulsory check box.

Action 3: Now we require to compose a script to get the mail address of each provider and to do so we will compose a script on the AVANTBOUT action of SPEPAY to bring the provider’s mail and shop it in a worldwide variable.

Action 4: To print the report we will compose a script on the AVANTBOUT action of SPEPAY (As we are not sending out mail while printing the report, it will set off on publishing the entry So we need to include code to print the report).

Now let’s develop a workflow for this report.

Step 5: To develop a workflow (Ex: ZPAYVOCHR1) go to Setup->> Workflow->> Workflow Rules

Set the occasion code to ARP and in the Conditions tab, choose Type as Header and in the conditions, [F:ARP] RPTCOD=” Report code”

Ex: [F:ARP] RPTCOD=” ZIAPPAYVOCHR1

Action 6: Now in the Receiver put the International variable which contains the mail id of the provider. Here in our case the International variable was “ ZSUPPMAIL1“.

Now, as soon as a Payment entry is Published a mail will be activated that will send out the report to all the providers in the Payment. In this method we can set off an e-mail to all the providers in Payment entry.
