SEIA Gets Greenlight to Establish 11 New Standards Governing Solar Setup, Training, Recycling, Customer Security, & Supply Chain Traceability

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today the Solar Power Industries Association (SEIA) was authorized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to establish 11 brand-new solar and energy storage requirements, less than 2 months after being authorized as an Accredited Standards Advancement Company

The authorized propositions, which appear in the current ANSI Standards Action publication, consist of requirements for property and business and commercial setup requirements, supply chain traceability, customer security, decommissioning, recycling and end of life management, in addition to training for setup, operations and upkeep, and health and wellness.
